Why Torrents in Streamyx is SLOW
Now I know why. Now I know why. TMNet is limiting P2P traffic to international links. Not limiting, in fact, its BLOCKING!!!

See? All the download speed comes from local peers. So, if your torrent if full of non-local peers, you will get slow speed. No matter what kind of protocol encryption is enabled or forced, the speed won’t increase. So, if you want speedy torrent speed, find a torrent with a lot of TmNet user. I’m sure it will be fast. I am downloading Bleach at maximum speed this morning.
Updates: Recently, TMNet started to block connection to tracker to. You might want to check this out.

PC is Busted
My. PC. Is. Busted.
Stupid power supply. Just as my brother’s PC is back, my PC just gone kaput-ed. Unbelievable.
It’s like a curse. A curse that doesn’t want me to use the computer for all I want.

Lowest Budget Music Video
Oh my… I can’t believe Utada Hikaru has such video! I was browsing around for Hikki’s english songs in Youtube, and stumble upon this video.
Extremely low cost. All she does is wash the dishes, drink some water, and wash more dishes!! While doing that, she sings and smiles!! Low cost eh? All you have to do is pay the water bill. And I believe all those are done in one take.
So, here’s a suggestion for the Pitstop Creationz people, after making the two music videos, why not create a 3rd one where one of you just stand by the sink, wash some dishes, sing and smile?
It’s low cost, and look at the comments on that Hikki’s video; Everyone is Loving IT! ![]()

Direct Sales Programme Brainwash
I got dragged by one of my course mates to a direct sales brainwash session. I shouldn’t have said that I am damn free that night when she ask a few of us whether we are free or not. I didn’t know she has a “direct sales” background. It’s hard to say reject an offer to go and listen to some “successful story” once you say you are damn free. I did try to avoid, by saying no car. But since it is her chance to get a downline, of course she’s willingly to pick me up. Oh well….
I am reluctant to go. Whatever, since it is my first time attending this kind of session, I just want to experience how they brainwash people until people joined their programme.
This direct sales company actually get someone who’s so successful with their programme in Taiwan, bring back here and talk about his story here. His story is quite interesting. I noticed that the presenter is quite smart. It could be true, it could be a made-up story.
He started the story by talking about himself, and how he didn’t trust direct sales company and how unwillingly he is to join such thing. While telling it, of course he add up some humour to the story. Part of presenting skills i guess. Humour attracts attention. Even a banana like me, that understands 60% of what he says tries to understand him, because he does attracts my attention.
Then, he started talking about how good he is, in both his study and work. He does have a stable job in a stable company. He worked hard, from 9 to 5. And he is so unfortunate to be in an accident that causes him to be one eyed blind. That’s when he say, no matter how stable a company is, they can’t cover everything for you. Anything could happen to you and your 9-5 stable job in giant corporation.
Because of this, he joins the direct sales programme because of flexibility. No more boss nagging you, no more drinking with clients until late at night to entertainment. You can work any time that you are comfortable with. You don’t have to wake yourself up with 5 alarms clock. And bla dee bla dee bla bla.
And you know what? I still don’t have the interest to join any direct sales programme. You know why?
- You have to put effort in it. After all, it is about selling thing. Promoting and talking is not my type.
- I know most people don’t like this kinda programme. I know I am not persuasive enough to convince people to join me, and become my downline.
- And most important factor, I can’t do my freelance if I start doing this as my part time.
I just don’t like these direct sales thing. It’s like pyramid scheme to me. What downline, what upline… Cheh~

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire
I’m 18 this year. I have to remind myself that. I am not so young anymore. I have spent around 12 years in school, and I have met all kinds of people from all walks of life. I believe I will meet more people in the future.
Liars are a few types of people I have met. Nobody can stop lying. It’s unavoidable. So far I haven’t seen anyone that is so honest and never lies. A person lies to cover themselves or to cover their friends. Some people lie for bad intention, like frauding or cheating. Some just like to brag and boast about themselves, while exaggerating it.
For every 1 lie that you tell, you need to have 10 lies to cover it. For the 10 lies you tell, you need another 100 lies to cover it.
That, I quote from one of Jack Neo’s Film, 3??? (One More Chance). In short, it means that you need more lies to cover every lies you tell. You end up tell endless lie just to cover your first lie. Then, you will end up getting caught lying and losing the trust of your friends.
And this is the first time of my life, meeting someone who lies, and there’s just too many HOLES in all his LIES. In other words, a N00B LIAR.
I must say he’s quite good at memorizing the hundreds of lies that he told his circles of friends. But sad to say, his lies are full of flaws, making me and some of my buddies starts to suspect something is wrong with what he talks about. Suspicious :fishy:
Suspicion 1
This person happens to be a game creator, a programmer. He claims that he owns Big Fish Games, PopCap Games and GameHouse. He creates games for them. I believe all that until he starts bugging me with computer related stuff, like how to use torrent, how to crack a game, and so on. Also, he claims to have 3 antivirus, 2 firewalls and 3 anti spywares in his PC. One word to describe: WOW!
Suspicion 2
There’s always people calling him to his cellphone. He usually talks about his company stuff and order them to do something. He claims to be CEO of a company. It’s weird that his phone never rings during lessons and only rings when we take a break and a few of us went to eat rojak together, along with him. Wait, his phone doesn’t even have a ringtone. Could be on vibrate/silent mode, the thing is, it’s always him and his phonecalls during our rojak break. This phonecalls syndrome gets even weirder when he was in one of my friends’ car, and my friend’s phonecall detector light doesn’t lit when people calls him. Does that mean he’s acting up all his phonecall? What’s the purpose?
Suspicion 3
He told me that he interviewed one Curtin U graduate from Miri, applying for an Accountant position in his company. He says that the graduate studied ACCA in Curtin. An Australian university offering UK qualification. I always thought they offer CPA qualified accounting programme, rather than ACCA.
Suspicion 4
He gives me a number of games. Claimed created by him, so he give me full version for free. And guess what? A text file saying downloaded from Demonoid.

Those obvious lie. I am still wondering why the hell he lie so much. I know I am not in the position to know why, and I guess there will be a lot of commenter that will say, “Get a life instead of listing why that person is a freaking liar”. I did some conclusion, after kaypo-ing talking with my other friends about this big fat liar. They do have doubts in EVERYTHING he says.
I come up with 2 conclusion. It’s either he is sick (depress, or fantasizing his life), or he just enjoy making fun of his circles of friend.
