The abuse extends to everything – including billing. I got a “normal” reminder phone call that my bill was overdue. warm and nice, no mention of line being cut. I paid on-line within 10 minutues and received e-mail confirmation from my bank. TM did not update the system and 4 days later, they cut my line, without any notice. When I called them and gave payment details, they said it will take up to 24 hours to re-open my line. The service level is slower than the Government Agencies! You can get an International passport in 1 hour, get black-listing uplifted in 2, get road tax in 10 mintues. TM/Streamyx needs 5 days to update!

heh..most ppl here says that streamyx is suffice for us…but really
1mbps? other country got 100 mbps already
they want us to be happy with our slow connection while seeing other like SG, Aus, have over 100mbps? come on lah
i think we all must protest infront the telekom building right now

Ini yang baru saya tahu kenapa streamyx banyak masalah

1. sebahagian tempat tak support packag yang kita mohon.
sebelum kita mohon pastikan tempat kita support berapa MBPS.
Streamyx tak akan cakap pasal tu sebab dia cuma nak duit je.

2. Streamyx bukan unlimited, dia control bandwith dia taknak dia punya server busy.
Streamyx sepatutnya tukar dari unlimited ke limited.
Contoh : semalan connection ok takada ribut takada apa tiba-tiba
hari ni slow.telefon 100 dia suruh kita buat benda yang tak patut tak ok
buat report. technician datang dia check cable check tu check ni tak ok
dia cakap in mungkin port ada masalah.Dia pergi check port selang beberapa jam
ok balik connection kita.Aku tak pikir itu port punya masalah. Aku cuma fikir
itu lakonan semata-mata.

384/512/1M/ is the same speed no different.
i use 512 kpbs and my download below 100 kbps
than i upgrade to 1.0 mbps my download still same no different same like 512 kbps.
i call 100 and ask them, he say maybe server not support 1.0 mbps.
i download from Microsoft and i check they server support 2.0 mbps but
my speed still same.

what is that man?
i think streamyx fool Malaysia people.

Hi AH Ming,
i once use this reason when i call them.
“your damn line took me 5 minute to open a damn website, how im suppose to make a online payment??? “. ” I pay streamyx bill by using online payment, if streamyx not able to fix my line, how im suppose to pay you guy’s !!?? “.
next following 24 hours, my line get back to normal.

*normal* = not that deadly slow. but still not fast.
