Most gay guys have the decency to not hit on guys that they know are straight. If they are unsure, they'll drop hints, but mostly they'll leave you alone. If they don't, they aren't being a very good friend to you and you should look for a new friend. He may not be comfortable with being gay yet, so that might be why he is denying it. Also, he might not want to admit it to you. If he trusted you enough to let you fix his computer, then on some level he is ok with you knowing he is gay. Don't get all creepily supportive on him though, because that will freak him out and possibly make you lose a friend. If he says he's straight, you don't have to believe him, but don't push the issue. He'll tell you when he's ready. The worst thing you could do is stop being his friend (unless he definitely has a crush on you and won't take no for an answer; friends respect boundaries).
