What’s so Cool about Friendster?
I never thought of writing this entry here, in my college’s computer lab. First time blogging on a public computer, feels a bit weird.
Anyway, it seems like this computer lab is full of girls. Heh, all of us are from the same accountancy course, we’re waiting for our lecturer to come. So, most of use “lepak” at the computer lab, either playing games or doing some surfing.
Shockingly, almost all of them are browsing the most popular site, Friendster. Weird, what is so cool about friendster? Other than looking at your friends’ friends, your friends’ friends’ friends, hot guys and cute chick, and that’s it? No fun at all. What’s worst is that some perverted (i believe is guys) create this so called “Hottest Chick” competition in friendster. How LAME. Seriously Lame.
I think I wrote about what do girls do when they’re online, and it seems like it’s all true. It is all so true… No doubt, girls still like friendster. Hah. Wait, MOST girls. I don’t want to be flame by my blog reader, especially girls.
Time is almost up, I think my lecturer will reach our class soon.

I love GOOGLE!!!
I love google. I love google because it has cool Gmail, Personalized Homepage, Picasa Web Album, Orkut, AdSense and many more. Don’t you just love their services?

I got a mail from google this morning.
This morning, some postman came and put this snail mail from Google into my house’s mailbox. Apparently, Google is recruiting me. Google wants me to work for them! WoW!! This is one rare opportunity! It seems like Google has noticed my crappy web design and they decided to recruit me as one of their web designer!! Damn!! Of course I would take up the offer!!
Just kidding. In my dreams. It’s not like Google wants to recruit a noob like me. Hah
Anyway, I actually did recieve something from Google this morning. It is regarding my AdSense. They sent a PIN number 2 months ago, and this PIN number is required for my AdSense account activation. So, I finally can recieve payment from them if my earning hits USD$100. Yeay!
My first international mail. And now I know it takes 2 months for an American snail mail to reach Miri. Heh

He’s Gay, isn’t he?
I think my friend is gay. As in homo gay, not the “happy” gay. As a friend, I am kinda afraid of him. I am straight, he’s gay. What if he likes me??? Oh my… I am so scared
So, on what reason I think that he’s gay? He denies it… Here’s some reason to support my er… assumption…
1. He browses guy’s profile in Friendster.
No matter how lame that person is, a straight person usually browses the profile of their opposite sex. I do look at cute girls in friendster once in a while (call me lame…
), but heck, I am not like him, looking for handsome guys. I was once in the computer lab with him, and he ask me to come over his computer to look at this guy. I was like, “WTF?”!! I think he will be very interested in the Playboy magazines for gay, if there is.
2. He randomly adds guys to his MSN.
Some people likes to put their MSN email in their Friendster profile. He will randomly add them to his MSN. I, seriously don’t know how to generate a conversation with a guy stranger. If I randomly add a girl, I can chat all I want. I flirt, jokes, tease… But if I were to add random guys and chat, I don’t know what to talk about. Frankly speaking, I have more girls than guys in my MSN. And, all the guys in my MSN are either my schoolmate, my ex-schoolmate, or people that share the same interest with me; blogging, computer, techs and internet.
3. He have a lot of “brothers”
I am sure this “online siblings” thing is rather popular among teens these days. Guys would usually have a lot of sisters, and girls would be vice versa. Ack, he have a lot of brothers, which kinda freaks me out.
4. He talks to his guy friend on the phone for hours
I know, girls can talk on the phone with their girl friends for hours. He can talk to a guy on the phone for hours, which totally contradicts with my style, as a straight. Like I said in #2, I don’t know what to talk about with a guy unless he share the same interest with me, or he needs my “tech support” (in computer lah, what were you thinking?).
5. He use handsome guys as his PC wallpaper.
He have problems with his computer, so he brings his CPU to my place. When I on the PC, what I see is a guy’s picture in his desktop. EW~~ Of all the guys that I know that is straight, they don’t have a guy as the wallpaper. They usually have anime (girls), race queens , stars (girls, of course), or anything BUT A PICTURE OF A GUY!!! My gosh…
6. He stores guy’s picture.
After I troubleshoot his PC, I say “It would be easier to fix it if I just format and reinstall everything for you”. Money minded me, since I charge $$$ for formats and reinstall, and he’s noob with computers, I don’t give a damn
Anyway, he asked me to backup his pictures and MP3. When I browse through his pictures, all I see is guys picture.
7. He is interested to know one of my coursemate.
He’s from the January Batch, and I am from the April Batch. One day, he saw this guy in walks into my class, and he asked me what his name is. He seems interested. There’s so many girls in my class, since I am taking accountancy. And yet, he wants to know the name of the guy.
Whether he’s gay or not, I can’t really judge. He denies it. But I believe he is gay, it’s just that he doesn’t realise it or he scared that the society cannot accept him as gay. So, what do you think?

Old Theme, for now…
Small Update. For the time being, I will be using this old theme. The new theme is taken down due to some viewing bug on older browsers. Until I fix it, and add some “w00t” factor to it, I will be using this old theme. So, bare with the slowness in loading. Too much code chunk, making this old theme loads slower

Virtual Talk vs Real Talk
I got a really, really interesting fact few days ago:
Two People can CHAT nonstop. Put them together, and silence is all you hear.
Interesting, isn’t it? My lecturer told our class just now. She said that she has students (our seniors) that can actually chat nonstop in the computer lab, and when they sit together, they keep quiet. Mind you, both of them is like sitting so near, and yet, they use MSN to communicate when they are in the computer lab. The distance is like 1.5 metres away. And I know the condition of computer lab, it’s always unoccupied. Talking to each other won’t be a problem.
The issue here; Why can they chat nonstop on MSN, and yet they don’t talk when sitting next to each other, as if they’re stranger? Weird isn’t it? It’s not like they don’t know they’re chatting to each other in the computer lab.
They can chat, but they can’t talk. It’s sad isn’t it? Is it so hard to face each other, open your mouth and start talking?
I guess anyone can be anything when it comes to virtual. They dare to do things they don’t in the real world. I believe one can be totally different in chat room and in real life. One can talk nonstop and totally freakin funny in a chat room, and a quiet shy person in real life. One can be so expressive in their blog, and when they’re asked to speak out, they kept quiet. Just like me… i think… maybe..
Talking isn’t that hard isn’t it?
