Migration and Upgrades
My site suffers a lot of downtime, due to a unreliable host. Because of the very frequent downtime and sometime suffers a very slow page loading, I decided to move to another host. Now, I am on a host using their free plan (no longer available though).
I have an account here since I first started to blog, when I was still using CuteNews as a blogging engine. So, it’s like already around 3 years, and this host is still standing! Reliability, that’s what I want.
Since I am doing migration, I decided to do upgrades to my wordpress as well. Now Clueless Dream is running Wordpress 2.0.1. I just love the new interface and the speed, thanks to AJAXified and the new built-in caching system. I just love WP2.
Expect some Valentine related post in this few days. I’ve been doing research, and this is the first time I take around 3 days to type an entry. It’s not long, it’s just informative and filled with my research about this lovey-dovey day. I’m just bored, and besides, I have a dateless Valentine’s Day anyways. ![]()
Updates: FreePgs is currently processing my sandbox subdomain. At the time being, my sandbox is accessible via geminigeek.com/sandbox.

i am willing to share bandwidth…but my hosting plans doens’t give face, they only provide hosting for one domain…

Well, still better than me, only sharing a domain with a net friend :P.
I’m interested, how is the free plan like though, and are my eyes cheating me when they said the payments for the other plans are one-time only? There shld be a hidden catch somewhere….

It is a one time payment only. Your eyes are not cheating you
As for the catch? I don’t think there’s any, only that their hosting feature may not be as bloated as other webhosting company has to offer. one thing obvious is that they dont have cool control panel like plesk or cpanel. creating a subdomain is quite troublesome too, since you have to go through sending an email to admin to request additional subdomain.
But, as long as I have phpmyadmin, mysql, ftp and a php-enabled host, I am happy because I can run wordpress and start blogging
Ouch, I just realise I haven’t install quicktags for comment formating and my smillies. Ah…
