I used to think Marudi is one of the best place to live in... it changed my perception as i aged...

I think the health care system in Sarawak generally is very poor especially Marudi because it is difficult to go out of Marudi... even though with the introduction of logging road's vehicle services from Marudi to Miri through logging road and oil palm plantation... With limited medical stuffs, especially the skilled one, one has to be content with the available personals. Marudian used to be very happy with one of the male dentist few years back as he is one of the best ever dentist availabe in the history of Marudi. He is skillful at the same time polite... it is like one in 100 years you will find this kind of doctor in Marudi... Other doctors, sorry to said, i am not impressed... but were even downright arrogant...

Food... chendol used to be very nice.... but over the years the quality seems to have dropped.... the only thing that is still good is the "Kolot" mee...

I think Marudi is a sad town.... the town is too small until you dont have any privacy anymore... anything happen for instance if you fart too loud in your house, the next day, everybody in Marudi will know.... And the people is a bunch of "mesra" people... The rich people act as though they are the king of this small town and the higher position people or those so called "educated" have always thought they are better and some acted arrogantly or even look down at those lowly educated... It is the same everyway whether you are in Marudi or KL... and i think it is worse in Marudi because you cannot escape from all these things as the town is too small...

It is really sad to think of all these things as we should have think positively...

Marudi has been like the current states for more than 15 years..... I wonder how is the future of it with the beginning of the new era of oil plam plantation by the giant MNC.... Flood will be a norm, i predict as the soil will be further deteriorated other than the illegal logging activities.... the flood has been significantly reduced for the last few years as the logging activities has been banned.... and only illegal loggging still going on...

All the best to "Smallville" who has to bear the effects of the development of the economy and society even though she herself does not have much development.....for the past many years

Actually you don't have to think about it. :noworry:
You should think positively like the town are quite quite
or better than your home town.So that's all.
