Why do we live?
It’s me and my random thoughts again. I was studying history just now and suddenly all this thing came into my mind.
“Study hard for your SPM. It’s very important.”
“SPM, determines your future.”
“SPM is just the begining of a harder life in the future.”
All those are words I heard throughout my 5 years in my secondary school. From my teachers, seniors, friends, my parents, my friends’ parents, seniors, even juniors, almost everyone said almost the same thing.
With all those that came into my mind, I began to wonder, Why do we live? Is it to study, then work, then have kids and die? Is that the meaning of life? Study, work, getting married and die?
I bet almost everyone does that. Pretty meaningless, don’t you think so?
Now you see, I study so hard for my SPM to get good result, so I can easily get to good University sponsored. Then I will graduate with good piece of paper and get a good job. Then, I will look for a good wife and will have good kids. Then, DIE. After all that, we die.
With all that crazy thoughts in my mind, I started to think again, Why am I alive in the first place? Am I alive just to die after a few decades of living? Ouch, pretty meaningless to me.

Haha, finally asking this question I see. Well, first an intro, I’ve been reading your blog for a while now but haven’t really commented yet. I’m pretty much same like you, a normal 17-yr old student in M’sia
.
I realized that at a more younger age than you(kinda attributed to anime and manga actually
) and so I didn’t really study seriously in my school years. Instead, I really enjoyed my school life a lot more (well, especially when your school is just 15 mins away from Sg.Wang 
).
So what I really suggest to you is to find something in your life that you’re interested in and do your best in it.Find something that you can enjoy your life with
not just to survive on it.
In anycase, I’d like to wish you good luck on your SPM this year and don’t get sick midway ;P. When I took it last year, one of my friends actually came down with chickenpox half way XD.

I ask myself that same question every day. It makes me so unbelievably depressed. I actually want to kill myself – wants the point in working, in being bothered to do anything???? It’s maddening. I ask myself why try? why bother when i’m just gonna die. In the next 100 years no-one will know who i was. they will go on with their lives without knowing why. So would the world be much different if i wasnt here? What if all the good things in your life are outweighed by the bad things? I am pretty sure that there’s no god. What kind of god would allow the kind of poverty and suffering all around the world!!! I dont understand how a god could judge someone for being what they are. If a person is a murderer, that person is like that because he has been brought up to be like that. External factors!!. it is not his falt. just like a gay person has no choice about what sex he falls for. What is the point?

Well, at the end of the way you will realise that actually there is a God and all this earthly existence is for your own good so that you learn and experience thing that you couldn�t in the perfectness of the other side to where you go back home after you die. Well
I have been thinking on the same lines from abt some time now . AT the first look everything seemed meaningless. I tried , asked different people , read books but all of them talked abt just one thing how to llive . Nobody talks abt why to live . But I have devloped a pholosophy my own . I think that everyone of us has a destiny to achieve we can only be perpetually happy if and only if we keep trying to achieve that . rthat is each of us is a unique part of this universe, and as that part we have a destiny or task to achieve/do and that’s why I live .
