In version 1.2.1, it is extremely sensitive to spambots even the ones that are broadcasted from computers that contain spyware. If you have too many readers that can't seem to access your blog because they get blocked off, it would be because someone was broadcasting spyware which caused BB to blacklist the IP address for 48 hours...and with a lot of people using ISP's like TMnet, a few people may be blocked off as well. If you have this problem, deactivate BB, truncate your BB logs in PHPmyadmin and switch to version 1.14. It work beautifully for me after that.
