I didnt even bother looking back at Winamp after I switched to foobar2000. It was few months back, before I got my streamyx. I was so obsessed with foobar back then, since I love the way songs is sorted using columns ui. It’s pretty cool since everything is sorted by albums and it looks really nice. Foobar has better sound quality compared to Winamp too.

Yesterday, I downloaded winamp for some reason. Winamp 5.1, with surround support, released 1st September on their main site (but leaked all over the net earlier).

“Same old Winamp”, I said to myself. The same classic skin. The same modern skin. What can I expect from Winamp?

Ok, that’s some new feature. Some new feature that I don’t really use.

Since I’m on broadband now, so I decided to stream. Yes, stream on Shoutcast. Heck, just one stream through Winamp Media Library made me so addicted to it. Now I don’t have to be stucked in with my 6GB of songs on my pc and another 16GB on my bro’s pc. I can stream all I can. Damn… I love the internet radio…

Well, not only SHOUTcast audio, I stream the TV too. I can’t seem to find anything from the website, but Winamp’s Media Library allows you to stream video. I love it so much. :happy: Now I can watch er… demo of some anime before i leech them. Nice eh?
I didn’t know SHOUTcast is so much fun. Too long on 56k, felt so out… X/
