Why Pink?
I began to worried about the girly site of this site. The pink-ish colour of my site. My friends approach me and kept on asking the same question:
Why pink???
or
Why so GIRLY???
Now here, I began to wonder, is it wrong for a guy to have a pink site? Does always pink has to go with girl? I love my Cherry Berry Theme, and it’s just nice and simple.
Is it like Pink = Girl?
Or is it Guy + Pink = Girly Guy?
Ahhh… come on… Is it too wrong for me to have a pinky theme? Maybe I should really develope a new theme, and totally ban the use of pink or red in my new theme

I’ve been busy!!
It’s been a while I didn’t blog. I’ve been really busy with this and that. Now, I will have my exam going in a week. Sigh~ After the exam is the interschool’s trial SPM exam.
I’ve been busy with my streamyx lately. It has been giving me problem, daily. I’ve been busy with study, exam is so near. I’ve been busy with an educational blog especially for SPM 2005 candidates, currently under construction. That little blog will be hosted at geminigeek.com.

Kenny Sia, another Keyword?
I wrote once about how amazing this little keyword that could definitely increase your traffic temporary, sex. I wrote about Sex, Girls and Picking Nose, a joke that I got from my friend, originated from the good old Phua Chu Kang joke.
Iâ??ve been surfing around and see how amazing Kenny Sia is. Wow, heâ??s quite popular in the Singapore and Malaysian Blogosphere. *Respect Him* Go go Sarawakian 
Back to the topic, Kenny Sia as a keyword? Right, as you can see, Kenny Sia is super popular, I can see a lot people is using his name for traffic increasing purpose, other than being jealous of his popularity.
I read an entry in minishorts, yet another femes blogger. Apparently, thereâ??s been some flaming post did by this particular blogger, who is obviously very jealous of minishorts and Kenny Sia. Then thereâ??s this big addict of Kenny Sia, writing an entry about Kenny Sia addiction symptoms.
I guess you just Kenny Sia-ed your site, Iâ??m sure thereâ??s people visiting your site. He have so many fans, right? Any word that flames or praise him surely makes people visits your site.

I’m Still Blurry with my Future
My school’s career day is today. This is the day where a lot of private education institution comes to my school and promote the course their institution has to offer. Since some of this institution is where I will be in the future, so I don’t hesitate to ask them a lot of errm.. n00b questions.
I wrote about how I’m lost and what to do in my future. This post here is kind of like the expansion of that post. Anyway, this career day helps me a lot. They explain a lot about the job opportunity and what is the most marketable job for now and the future. But now, I’m stuck in a dilemma. Go for marketable job, or go for my interest?
According to a statistic, it shows that Business Studies graduates ranks number one in the unemployed graduates statistic, followed by the Computer Studies. Yes, Computer Studies got the 2nd rank!! How amazing, the course that I am most interested in, is one of the most unmarketable job.
I did mention about me going for Accounting in my previous post. Well, if I did pursue my studies and major in accounting, I will definitely go to CAT, and followed by ACCA before becoming the member of MIA. But here’s some of my sister’s saying:
If you want to go for Accountancy, you have to study until you are the Charted Accountants. If you just have the lousy CAT qualification, your salary won’t go anywhere.
That’s her advice. About how marketable is the Accountancy skills, well, everybody knows there’s always business and companies in the world. Everybody wants their companies’ money to be managed properly. Here is where accountants becomes handy. No unemployment problem if I go for accountancy.
In this career day, I went to the Swinburne Sarawak Campus booth. My friend ask about the Business Studies while I ask about Engineering. Here’s some information I got. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electric & Electronic Engineering is the most common engineering.
There’s this new course that Swinburne offers, the Telecomunication and Internet Technologies kind of interest me. It’s about all this telecomunication and internet thing-ey, like the EDGE or the 3G technology. People with this skill is marketable since now Malaysia is really into this Telecomunication stuff.
Other than the T&IT, there’s this course, Robotics and Mechatronics. Ok now, even the Sarawak State Government is concern about people with mechatronics skill. There’s a lot of company importing people from oversea with this skill. Therefore, this job is marketable too.
I know all the course that is marketable. But now, I have to make a few consideration on the course that I might take in the future.
1. My financial status. My dad retires this year.
2. Because of my financial status, I have to consider studying locally rather than oversea.
I’ve been considering Form 6 or Matrix. Something to worried about, will I ended up like my brother’s friend, who also goes nowhere after Form 6? My brother is now working, that friend of his is still studying in PRIVATE INSTITUTION because HE IS NOT ACCEPTED IN LOCAL U.
I know, there’s always loan or scholarship. And that does mean I have to really, really score my SPM.

1300 88 9515. Familiar right? Ok, it’s the TmNet’s customer care line. For those who is using streamyx and is having problem, here’s step that you should do before calling them up. That’s the thing they will ask you to do before they lodge a report for you.
If you have speed problems, try this steps:
- Do a direct connection or standalone connection, which means not though a router or a network. Remove your splitter and directly connect the phoneline to the wall socket.
- Flush your DNS. Go to run and type in cmd. Then, type in ipconfig /flushdns. Restart your pc and see if it does help or not.
- Still doesn’t help? If your modem has a built-in router, try not to use automatic connection. Do a manual connection. More information here.
- Still going slow? Do a bandwidth test 3 times, via the tmnet bandwidth tester or testmy.net. Remember, if you’re on the 512 package, you are normally connected at 300-400 when you’re doing the speed check. If you’re on the 1mb package, you are normally connected at 700-900 when you’re doing the speed check.
- Done the speed check, and still not happy with the speed? Ok, you have to call them now. Report all the 3 speed test result in 2 decimal places. They will tell you the report number and check their progress with the report number. They claim they can fix everything in 2 working days, but I doubt that.
If you have blinking status, try this steps:
- First thing they will ask you to disable splitter, again.
- Then they will ask you to do a direct connection or standalone connection without going through a network or router.
- Then they will ask whether you have extension line or not. If you have, disable them.
- Still blinking? Try your modem on the extension line, make sure your other line is disabled.
- If still blinking, borrow a working modem from your friend and try at your place. Or maybe you can check whether you modem is certified or not here.
- Blinks again? Now, contact your local TM Point and tell them your problem. Ask them whether they have done jumpering on your streamyx number or not. If they haven’t, ask them to.
- Still blinks? Maybe your area haven’t got streamyx eeh.
No choice, just call the 1300 88 9515
Here’s another tip. Avoid the waiting time by calling them in the morning or afternoon on weekdays. Office hours, I can assure you don’t have to wait.
Anyway, as for other problems, I’m not sure what to do though. Call them lor, no choice.
