A mother and 10 kids

My school’s trial exam is today. I have my BM paper today. In my essay writing, there’s this topic that interests me:

Seorang ibu dapat menjaga sepuluh orang anak, tetapi sepuluh orang anak belum tentu dapat menjaga seorang ibu.

Ulaskan pernyataan itu.

A mother can take care of ten kids, but it’s not like her ten kids can take care of their mother.

I kind of agree with this statement. Everyone knows that a mother can take care of all her kids. But when her kids is all grown up, it’s not like all of them is able to take care of their mother.

Here’s a situation of a mother with ten kids. She have to do stuff mothers have to do, such as feeding the baby, preparing her kids to school, and at the same time doing stuff that a wife do such as cooking, cleaning and so on. Yes, she manage to do all this.

But one thing for sure, her burden decrease as her kids grows up. A mother’s job now is to give them support and advices, since now her kids should know how to think maturely and act on their own. Times goes on until her kids is all grown up and have their own family to take care of. That’s when a mother turns old and needs her kids to take care of.

Now, let’s twist the situation. Ten grown up kids with an old mother to take care of. They can’t manage. Why? The main reason is they have their own family to manage. As I said earlier, a mother will do anything for their kids. Now they have kids to take care of, and who is going to take care of the old woman?

Here’s what I’m trying to highlight, a mother takes care of her son/daughter, thus leaving her own mother neglected. Then, her son/daughter need to take care of her own son/daughter, and leaves her mother neglected And this goes on and on and on.

If the ties goes on and on, who’s going to take care of our mother? Which is why I guess everyone should change their thinking. They should think how much their mother have done for them, and they should at least take care of them.

As I wrote the essay, I kept thinking how much sin I did towards my mom. Whine, Complain, Making her angry… Sigh~ What a Son I am…. :yikes:
