1 Fucking Year for Streamyx, and still waiting…

June 9th, 2005 in Writings 19 Comments

What shall I say. It’s A YEAR I waited for myself to transfer from the stone age to the broadband age. Yes, a year, and im still in the stoneage. FUCK YOU TM!!! It’s been a YEAR already, and all you say is NO PORT as the reason? Hello, be reasonable please. ONE YEAR to install port is way too much. Even house builds faster than that. Even a pregnant woman takes only 9 months before giving birth. Now you make me wait ONE YEAR, and I’m still waiting for the port to be installed?

Is it because you’re enjoying eating my 56k fee that reaches hundred plus? Well, if I apply for streamyx, all you can earn is rm88 from me right? Is that the reason? Being the only ISP in Miri that provides wired broadband, I guess TM and TmNet is the worst. Lousy customer support. When I asked when can I have my streamyx, all they answer is “I can’t give you an exact date”. What the FUCK? You all wanted me to wait for another year, perhaps another decade? MIRI IS NOW A CITY WITH STONE AGE TECHNOLOGY!!! Agree with me?

It’s a year I waited for my streamyx. All I can do is wait. Wait wait and wait. AAAh fuck, when can I enjoy the speed of broadband at home?

The Evil in Me

June 7th, 2005 in Personal 10 Comments

This few weeks, I’ve done a few things that is quite evil, I think. Hah~ confession in my blog. Dear readers, I have sinned. Please forgive me.

Lie. That is one that I can’t avoid. I lie a lot, both white lies and black lies, maybe some grey lies :D My friend just called few days ago. He asked me to go to his house, bring back his CPU and do some formating and software installing. When I ask about payment, he said, “No needla, we’re friends bah…”. I’m pissed. Not that I’m greedy, but I’m really broke. I need money. Then I said, “I have to finish some holiday projects, sorry ar…”. Hah, fuck you. I don’t do free stuff when I’m broke. Oh, by the way, I’m not as busy as I claimed. I have been watching animes that I borrowed from my friend. :P
2nd lie. I promise my friend to go to library to study with her. Well at least I said I will go in the afternoon, but she say she will be there since morning. It’s already afternoon, and suddenly I felt so lazy to go. I SMS her, “Sorry, I can’t go cos I have transportation problems”. I end up sleeping the whole afternoon. Aww, I feel so bad. But I’m going today. I need her help on my homeworks, she need my help on her homeworks. We need each other’s help :D
3rd evil thing I’ve done, leaving the shopping trolley in the car park. Right, this may seem not-so-wrong, but what I did is indeed very evil. There was a “SALE” going on in the shopping complex my family and I were going. Because the stuff that our family bought is way too much, we put our bought goods in the shopping trolley and push to where we park our car. After that I left the trolley in the car park. Seems not-so-wrong right? Well, it’s not. Considering there was a SALE going on, there’s a lot of cars, and the car park seems full. I left the trolley in the middle of the parking, so people can’t park in. They can, only they have to get out of their car and push the trolley away. Hah~ I’m so good :D
4th evil thing I’ve done, eating my brother’s biscuits and cookies. He bought a lot of cookies and biscuits to bring to his office. He’s office is kinda boring, he sometimes spend time eating those snacks. Anyway, I was hungry the other midnight and I start eating those cookies. First, I ate a little. I started to get addicted, I ate half of the packet. And I eat, eat and eat until it is left three quarters. The next morning, my brother founds out. I blame it on my cousins, the two cousins that my mom babysits. Those two got fucked for no reason, while I escaped unhurt. :D
Aw, I felt so bad. I did all those bad stuff without thinking about the consequences. But then again, I escaped all the time. Lucky me, I guess.

10 Ways To See Ghost

June 4th, 2005 in Writings 34 Comments

I just recently watch the chinese movie, The Eye 10. It’s about 10 ways to see ghost. The movie is just a so called horror movie. It’s a comedy for me  Anyway, here’s the 10 ways to see ghost.

  1. Cornea Transplant
It is claim that a person that got a cornea transplant from a dead person, the person can see ghost
  2. Suicide Attempt
A pregnant woman that attempts suicide can see ghost. Oh… that means males only have 9 ways to see ghost :P
  3. Oujia(not sure how to spell) board
I bet everyone heard of this. Place a cup or something and put your finger on top of it on a piece of paper full of letters. Then call the ghost to come and the ghost will answer all you question.
  4. Midnight Hide and Seek
Play hide and seek at night in a “dirty” place. The ghost will play with you too. When the ghost play with you, the ghost will block one of the hider so that everyone can’t see the hider. To make him appears again, the seeker have to use a black cat. The black cat will unblock the view somehow. Then, you will see both hider and the ghost.
  5. Dirt Mask
Dig up some soil from a dead men’s kubur (what do you call this in English?) and apply them to your eyes.
  6. Calling Hungry Ghost
I was laughing my ass off when I see this part in the movie. To call hungry ghost, you will need foods, bowl and chopsticks. Tap the bowl with chopstick, and that will attract hungry ghosts’ attention. They will go to your place and eat those food. Tapping must continue, or the ghost will be able to see you!! About the funny part in the movie, one guy tap the bowl until the bowl breaks. Desperately, he use his chopsticks and tap his teeth, which has similiar sounds to the bowl taps -_-”
  7. Midnight Hair Combing
Comb your hair midnight, in front of a mirror. You will see ghost that you desire.
  8. Opening Umbrella
Open your umbrella indoors. You will see ghost after that. My grandparents always disallow me to open umbrella indoors. Kinda like our taboo.
  9. Peek-A-Stoop
I’m not sure how’s it called, but that’s how the DVD i rented translated. Try to look behind you in between your legs, of course, you have to bend down.
  10. Play Dead
Dress up like a dead person and sleep. You will go to the ghost world. This part of the movie is funny too. It is said that ghost in the ghost world is afraid of you breath. Well, the keep on blew those like dragon blowing fire. The funny part is where the guy (the same guy that taps his teeth) accidently farted and the ghost fainted straight away

Seeing ghost with that 10 ways. I wonder if it is really possible…

Perodua or Proton?

June 4th, 2005 in Writings 43 Comments

The 2 top Malaysian Car Makers. Perodua and Proton. Just recently, Perodua has just launched their Myvi, which in my opinion is one of the greatest car by Perodua, though the design is yet another ciplak from Daihatsu and Toyota. To get into the competition, Proton will launch the Tiara Replacement Model and Satria Replacement model.

I am not much of a car freak. But if I am to compare Proton and Perodua, I’d go for Perodua. Last time, I don’t even bother thinking about Perodua, since all they have is compact car, doesn’t interest me. Now, they have Myvi. Myvi is quite spacious, and claims to be as spacious as Proton Wira. It seems small, but it is big. For a person as tall as me, I felt quite comfortable sitting in the driver seats and the seat at the back. Myvi is indeed great.

My brother has quite active in some Malaysian Car Enthusiast forum, I’m not sure what the link is. Anyway, most people there claims that Perodua is much better than Proton. Hah, I totally agree. People who owns a Proton car always face problem. I still remember the “engine got fire in Proton Gen-2″ news a few years back (or was it last year). And what Proton did is replace that person’s Gen-2 with a Proton Wira!! Now, as you can see, in terms of Quality Control, so far Perodua has no problem, but Proton? A lot. In terms of customer support? Hey, a Gen-2 is replaced with Wira?

Proton has to be improved in order to match with those big car companies. If Proton did really want to go international, come on, why don’t improve the local one before going international? If to compare between Proton and Perodua, Perodua is my choice :D ** Don’t mind me if there’s too much mistakes. Please correct me **

WP Theme: Cherry Berry

June 2nd, 2005 in Wordpress 62 Comments

Well, in the end I decided to make Cherry Berry a Public Release. Cherry Berry PR is a bit different from the Cherry Berry theme I’m using in my site. Yeap, just a bit. Anyway, Cherry Berry is a theme that uses red color, red color, and more red color

Cherry Berry

Installation Notes:-

  1. Download the package here.
  2. Extract the package, and upload the whole folder to your /wp-content/themes/ folder in your wordpress folder.
  3. Activate the theme in your Wordpress Admin Panel (Presentation).
  4. That’s it, it’s all done :)

Additional Notes:-

  • I’ve included 2 stylesheet in the package, Fixed Width (FW) and Fluid (FL) stylesheet. The default stylesheet is FW. To use the FL stylesheet, just rename style-fl.css to style.css. Just make sure you keep backup for both stylesheet, just in case you want to change them.
  • To make use of the Archives Page, create a page and use archives.php as the page template.

Difference between FW and FL?

  • FW uses fixed width, 720pixel and it is compatible with any resolution with 800 x 600 and above. FW uses images for the shadow effects on top and at the wrapper.
  • FL uses percentage, compatible with any resolution with 640 x 480 and above. FL doesn’t use any images, so there’s no shadow effects on top and the wrapper.

Updated!!
I’ve just check my theme for problems. There’s indeed problem, for those who doesn’t have the required plugin (although I commented it, but php will still be parse). So here’s the updated version, I’ve removed all the part that requires external plugin. By the way, try not to use any download managers/splitter to download this file. It’s just a small 13.2kb 15kb file.

Another Update
Thanks to Makki for pointing out that the link is broken. I tried login in to the server that hosted the theme file, and I found out that the webhost is gone. Now, I am not able to recover to the theme files, and I couldn’t find it anywhere in my local disk. If any of you have the theme archive, please send them to me. Thanks

Finally, I have found Cherry Berry, after searching up and down on the net. Well, my theme was translated to German (if I’m not mistaken), so I downloaded the package and translate it back to English. Please inform me if there’s any other translation errors. X/

If you have any problems regarding this theme, feel free to leave a comment or directly email me.
