Templating is done!!
After some few days work, I eventually finished my templating (except the shoutbox part). With my crappy temporary monitor around, I’ve been using my brother’s pc to do templating. Actually I can finished earlier, but I can only use my brother’s pc when he’s out. Most of the time, he’s stick to the screen.
I’ve finish. I’m so happy I don’t have to use the default template. At least I have my own identity now.
A few more part to finish up
- Archive page. Looks like wordpress 1.5 doesn’t have a compatible nicer archive. Now im stuck there
- About my site page. I will be writing about why i created this blog, and how i created this blog
- Shoutbox implemention. I haven’t get the shoutbox file from my old blog. Hahahaha
- Clickable smillies. I kinda lose the plugin
- Maybe some minor changes in my permalink page.

well, find the part of your code.
Find the code
then just add to the end of that code.

errrm…
I meant
“then just add “” to the end of the code.

damn, sorry about that,
here is the text file to show you where to add. Only one tag.

oh yeah, because geocities thinks that the txt file is a html file, do this.
Right click and save the file into your computer.
Open the text file.
find the code and add the extra code.

It looks like it wasn’t my html codes that causes the problem. it was my crazily hand-coded CSS stylesheet. I was trying to hide the HEADING1 with “margin: -500em;”, it turn out this thing offenses Firefox to render properly. I changed to “margin-left: -500em;” and everything turn really cool now.
Nex thing is to get my shoutbox done. Sigh~ being a full-time student plus a part-time webmaster sure is a tough job (while using a 56k and a crappy blurry 15″ a bit “sot” monitor).
By the way, the banner on top is a stolen pic from a forwarded message. Well, now I’m halfway typing something about my site, and of course credit goes to the one who drawn that picture (i wonder who drew it, hmm….)

SHOUTBOX!!!
March 24th, 2005 at 9:44 pm
LOL, sorry for that problem, forgot to check how does fireworks renders my permalink. Anyway, that problem is caused because i put “width: 1px; margin: 1em auto;” Maybe. 1 px width with automatic side margin will of course caused that problem
As for shoutbox, wait la… blurry computer bah… haih..
