Internet is just “too much”, or perhaps “can do anything” would sound better. I mean, you can now see a lot of stuff that people do on the internet. From good stuff to bad stuff. You can mail, chat, do business, share information. Just almost anything. You share illegal information, warez, crackz.
I just read some article recently. This is not something new though. People sell themselves in E-Bay. Kinda like making offer to desperate people so they can “rent” you. With fees a month, they send you letters, pictures and email to you.
Isn’t the Internet just wonderful? If you’re so desperately needing money, sell yourself. If you’re desperately looking for a companion, go “rent” some.

actually many things haver been happening around us since many many years ago but its just that we do not aware about it and when the internet came into our life make the world smaller so that we get to know so many weird stuffs are happening. just the case u mentioned, isnt it just like prostituting? but this is happen in cyberworld.

only better….they don’t even have to ‘do it’ to earn money….
but what the heck…there is no one who controls the internet…not like the real world where there is law enforcers to controls everything…perhaps that is what that happens in the cyber world.
yet..nobody is complaining about it…
