Competition rules in the UK we have over 100 broadband suppliers giving upto 16Mps service and the suppliers onw the lines as well (LLU - local line unbundelling). So what you might say competition will destroy the monopoly of TMnet - no it will not it will make it more competative. In the UK we have BTinternet fighting for market share just as competitively as tiscali, yahoo or all the others. I thought i was in for a good deal here - instead I am really disappointed - 1measly MPs service of 2 at a push which is rarely achieved. NO COMPETITION - the only providers is TMnet - maxis can only provide 56k max which is internet old style. Come on guys get out and have a look at the rest of the world B) Obviously all the electronics are getting exported to the UK as it is cheaper - yes cheaper for me to get a wifi router/modem from the UK and sent out to me here in KL than go to the shops even downtown or at the Curve. Or am I shopping at the wrong place. No grey imports or off the back street shops please.
