I Sang In Front of the Class!!

September 2nd, 2004 in Personal

Rather embarassing, but what can I say? It was kind of fun too. Now I know how does the Malaysian Idol contestant feel when they are in front of so many people (my class was about 34 people). It’s all because of the Moral Studies’s Tugasan Harian that I did, my teacher force me to sing.

I still remember, it was Question 24, Tuliskan/Ciptakan sebuah lirik yang berkaitan dengan alam sekitar. This is 1 out of 29 question (i think, or more), and I think writing a lyric is easier and faster. So there i goes, writing a kinda funny lyric.

ALAM

Kamu,
Mengapa begitu tamak?
Kamu,
Mengapa pentingkan diri?
Kamu,
Mengapa asyik fikirkan keuntungan saja?

Kita haruslah jaga,
A-L-A-M!!
Kita harus cintai,
A-L-A-M!!
Alam tanggungjawab kita semua supaya tiada pencemaran.
A-L-A-M!!
Kita haruslah jaga,
A-L-A-M!!
Alam tanggungjawab kita semua supaya tiada pencemaran.
(Chorus)

Sekarang,
Semua dah mula berubah.
Sekarang,
Semua dah mula tersedar.
Sekarang,
Semua memelihara dan memulihara alam.

*repeat chorus*

Lucky i wrote this lyric according to some “real music”. I didn’t know that teacher was going to force me to sing, oh well.. Anyway, this song is sang using the YMCA by Village People tune. Kinda reminds me of “Visitor Pass” though. Hehehehe. I got the idea to use the tune because of that advertisement on TV.

Everyone was laughing but rather enjoy my lyrics. When teacher asked the class, “Is this lyric acceptable?”. The whole class replied, “Yes!!!!”. I was safe. So I don’t have to redo everything. End of my Moral Project, now only have to concentrate on the AddMath Project.
