Love!! Very Sim Tia!!

September 16th, 2004 in Writings 1 Comment

I was looking through my last year’s file. All those exam papers, notes, exercises, rojak etc. Then i spotted this. A Hokkien Poem

Love!! Very Sim Tia. [Love!! Very heartache.]

I already very chin chai, [I already very easy going]
Why no char bo ai; [Why no women want]
They say me kanna sai, [They say me like shit]
But my heart buei pai. [But my heart not bad]

Saturday kee Mount Faber, [Saturday go Mount Faber]
Kua dio couple couple; [Saw couple couple]
Cars liam newspaper, [Cars paste with newspaper]
Kua liao lao chui nua. [See also drop saliva]

They ay sai tio ay sai, [They can means can]
Buei sai tio buei sai; [Cannot means cannot]
Hang cheng although pai, [Situation although bad]
Buei sai nger nger lai. [Cannot force force come]

So I wait and wait,
Wait for that thing call fate;
Whole life bo lang date, [Whole life no nobody date]
Don’t know when can mate.

Hai…..
Pai mia….. [Bad luck..]
Do you have any date??

Lol, pity to the guy who wrote this. Whole life bo lang date… hehehehhe

Win A Gmail From Me!!

September 6th, 2004 in Writings 10 Comments

I have too many Gmail invites to give out. I even provide 3 Gmail invites to a forum that I joined. Oh well, its like I got 6 Gmail invites reloaded to my mailbox daily. So, I decided to give it out through my blog.

To get this Gmail invite from me, it’s simple. All you have to do is answer my question correctly (use the comment system available). Make sure you typed in your correct email, because i will be sending the invite to the email. This tricky question is asked by my teacher.

The Missing Dollar

There’s 3 guys, rent a room in a hotel. Each of them paid RM30 for the room. So, this 3 guys went to their room. Ok now, the rent for the room is RM85. So, the hotel management people give the RM5 change to the one of the worker to give the money to those 3 guys. Now this nasty worker is very greedy. He took RM2 away from the RM5 change, as his tip, without the 3 guys knowing. So the worker give RM3 back to the 3 guys there.

That means, each of the 3 guys paid RM29, rite? Ok, lets look at the counting part.

RM29 x 3 = RM87.

The worker took away RM2, that means
RM87 + RM2 = RM89.

In the begining, the 3 guys paid RM 90.
RM90 - RM89 = RM1

Where does the RM1 goes?

So, think you got the answer? The first to get the answer correct gets a Gmail Invite from me. Good luck and happy thinking. BTW, this is an accounts-related question.

I Sang In Front of the Class!!

September 2nd, 2004 in Personal 2 Comments

Rather embarassing, but what can I say? It was kind of fun too. Now I know how does the Malaysian Idol contestant feel when they are in front of so many people (my class was about 34 people). It’s all because of the Moral Studies’s Tugasan Harian that I did, my teacher force me to sing.

I still remember, it was Question 24, Tuliskan/Ciptakan sebuah lirik yang berkaitan dengan alam sekitar. This is 1 out of 29 question (i think, or more), and I think writing a lyric is easier and faster. So there i goes, writing a kinda funny lyric.

ALAM

Kamu,
Mengapa begitu tamak?
Kamu,
Mengapa pentingkan diri?
Kamu,
Mengapa asyik fikirkan keuntungan saja?

Kita haruslah jaga,
A-L-A-M!!
Kita harus cintai,
A-L-A-M!!
Alam tanggungjawab kita semua supaya tiada pencemaran.
A-L-A-M!!
Kita haruslah jaga,
A-L-A-M!!
Alam tanggungjawab kita semua supaya tiada pencemaran.
(Chorus)

Sekarang,
Semua dah mula berubah.
Sekarang,
Semua dah mula tersedar.
Sekarang,
Semua memelihara dan memulihara alam.

*repeat chorus*

Lucky i wrote this lyric according to some “real music”. I didn’t know that teacher was going to force me to sing, oh well.. Anyway, this song is sang using the YMCA by Village People tune. Kinda reminds me of “Visitor Pass” though. Hehehehe. I got the idea to use the tune because of that advertisement on TV.

Everyone was laughing but rather enjoy my lyrics. When teacher asked the class, “Is this lyric acceptable?”. The whole class replied, “Yes!!!!”. I was safe. So I don’t have to redo everything. End of my Moral Project, now only have to concentrate on the AddMath Project.
