Bad Day…

August 10th, 2004 in Personal 2 Comments

Bad day…. very bad day.. I don’t get it, why am I so unlucky today? All those unlucky aura pour on me today… *sigh…* a moody day…

It was normal school day as usual. The first 2 periods is addmath. I was expecting the paper to be given back today, but teacher isn’t, because some of my classmate haven’t got their exam. Too much activity during exam week. Then, my “keypo” friend go ask about the addmath result, he asked about mine. Teacher say I fail. I FAIL!!!

My 1st failure in my 3 and a half years in secondary school. It feels like you walk, walk and walk. And you trip. You get up, and you walk again. But this time, you trip again, but you fell into a drain, causing pains and wounds all over you. The normal trips is when my marks drop. Now this fell into the drain thing is my failure. My 1st failure sure is painful. My target for this exam is Credits all subjects, and now i fail one subject, so sad.

That’s not all. Just before recess, I have my Moral lesson. I need to swap class because the Pendidikan Islam is taking place in our class. Oh well, as usual, I take my books and go to the other class. After having my Moral lesson, and I went back to class, I see there’s something different on my table. The bag and book position and different. Well, I don’t bother much about this.

During physics lesson, calculator is needed. So, I go to my bag, looking for my calculator. It’s empty, it’s not there, IT’S LOST!!! Damn!! My Casio fx-570MS is lost. There goes the RM40, fly away just like that. Now, I suspect it was stolen during the Pendidikan Islam lesson.

A bad day, It’s really a bad day….

Cyber Crimes

August 8th, 2004 in Writings 5 Comments

I was chatting with my online buddy, that i know thru RO. Well, we were talking about cyber crimes.

That issue come out after he read my blog entry about SPAMMING TELEKOM. He say I better not spam Telekom, as such big company can sue my pants off. He say it breaks the what what what 1997 Cyber Laws Act. He say spamming is a crime. Well, of course I know that, but that SPAM i mean is more of like harrasing them with phone calls. Sorry for the misconception.

Anyway, we start talking about cyber crimes. Cyber crimes include spamming, fraud, cracking, hacking, piracy… etc etc. Well, after a very detail talk on that topic, i realise that i just broke a lot of the Cyber Laws. Well, let me see…. the softwares in my computer, mp3s and unauthorize ID usage. I just break 3 laws. Hahahaha, but i’m still here, sitting in front of my pc, even now im using not so mine ID to connect to 1515. Shhhhhh…. *i should start removing the picture gallery on top*

My friend mention that the authorities are closing one eye. Yes, I totally agree with that. The authorities now are more concern about the music/entertainment industry, regarding the pirated CDs, VCDs and DVDs. You always see headlines in newspaper such as, “Police cracked down a Pirated VCD supplier” and so on, but you will never see something that have to do with Computer software. In fact, I can guarantee that more than 80% of the computer user (im refering to home users, not companies) is using pirated OS. So? See what i mean? If the authorities did really take action regarding this issue, people will spend time in jail, until the jail is full, like what my friend say.

Talking about my Future? It’s scary…

August 6th, 2004 in Personal 3 Comments

Heh, at last exam is over. All the tense is gone. Looks like it’s a few more months to the final semester exam. After that, it’s the end of Form4. Wow, that is very fast!! Then next year is my year facing the SPM. Wowaaahh!! Why is everything so fast??

Looks like my all my webdesign stuff must be finished by this year. Next year, I would only concentrate on study. Yikes, this attitude is so unlike me :P I’m the lazy-lazy type, and now I’m talking something about studying? But, SPM is damn important, right? I must really score on my SPM. With this lazy attitude stuck on me, I can’t go far with my SPM result.

Yesterday, my history teacher came in to my class. That time, there’s no exam in our class, but there’s still exam for the Form3 people. She say our history paper is like shit, as in sucks. She kept on saying that our class is not stupid, but lazy. Yea, I agree, I’m lazy. Bla bla bla… she goes on and on and on about how lazy we are.

Then after a while, she talked to students sitting in front about the importance of A Levels (STPM or Matriks). Me, sitting at the back, in the end joined their conversation. She say that Form6 and Matrikulasi is good, for those who isn’t that rich. She compared Matriks and Form6, and she says that the Form6 standard is higher than Matriks, but Matriks, you get to study in a local U for quite some time. That’s the advantage, rather than Form6, where you just stuck in your “good old classroom”. Besides, now Matriks has now open a chance for people like me, the Chinese. But the bad thing about this STPM and Matriks is, both took about 2 years. Too long, in my opinion.

So now, I’m still not so sure, whether to get the STPM/Matriks or just stick with the O Level and apply directly to any College or U, taking their foundation course. Foundation course won’t take as long as the STPM or Matriks.

Man, when I start thinking about the future, it really scares me. But, life goes on. Life is not only at schools. In just a few years time, I might not be at home, not with my family. I might be out there, with strangers, struggling in College or U. Sigh…. future, it really scares me…

Toilets in the Past

August 3rd, 2004 in Writings 3 Comments

The comprehension text in my english paper today is pretty interesting. It’s about toilet, washroom or in other words, WC. Well, this text is about toilets in the olden days, before the modern toilet is created.

Long before my time, during my parents time, i think, there’s the floating toilet. Made of woods, planks, and logs, with holes at the bottom. This toilet is “floated” over a river. Then, if you feel like ease yourself out, just go to the floating toilet, then just start “bombing” there. Your waste will go through the hole and drops directly to the flowing river. Ahhh… how creative, “all natural flushing system”….

That’s for people who lived by the river. How about those who live inlands? Well, they have a toilet called the pit latrines. This pit thing, is dug very, very, very, deeply to store waste. A small hut is build over this pit, with holes in the bottom, just like how the floating toilet works. Your waste will actually filled up the pit, so the pit will be covered manually with soils. That’s the bad thing about this type of toilet, no flushing system. That’s why this type of toilet is built far away from home, because of the smell. And obviously, when you looked down to the pit, you will see maggots… Ewww…. When I read that, i can just imagine how disgusting it is and how can people that time stand to ease themselves with this type of toilet?

Those who live in town, there’s no river, no lands, yikes!! What do they use?? They have their own version of pit latrines toilet, only instead of deeply dug pits, buckets is used. Now, the pit is disgusting enough, man, i can’t imagine how disgusting is this bucket one. Of course, since buckets is small, so it fills up very fast!! Yikes!! What are they going to do with it? Throw it away just like that? Well, actually no, cos at that time, there will be a person, so called “the night soil collector”. This night soil collector will go around town, getting the buckets of waste. Then this waste is sold to farmers to used as fertellizers.

Interesting huh?
